District Heating Days are the only one specialised event in the Czech Republic focused on heat and cool supply, electricity industry or use of renewable energy sources.
The District Heating Days take place traditionally every year towards the end of April in the Congress Centre Parkhotel in Pilsen. The representatives of heat and cool producers and distributors meet here the representatives of the companies supplying technologies for the district heating industry and industrial cooling.
Professional conferences have become traditional accompanying events, too.
The conference District heat and cool supply - District Heating Days is held by Association for distric heating of the Czech Republic. The conference takes three days and is divided into several sections, which are divided into thematic units (economic, technological, and others).
Another important conference is the conference of Renewable Energy Sources for the Countryside and District Heating. The conference is intended for mayors of towns and municipalities, agrarians, but also for the entrepreneurial sphere. For everybody, who wants to support using the renewable energy sources both in centralised and decentralised heat supply or simply wants to be well informed about current events in this area of the district heating industry. Another seminar held was a seminar called Valid Regulations for Power Engineering or a conference of the Czech Trade of Plumbers and Fitters of Space Heating Equipment.
